My aunt used to tell me "Use your head for more than a hat rack" but at the time, I was to young to fully understand what she was saying. As I have grown to become a man, a dad, and a business owner, I find that I'm using my head for more than a hat rack. It has become a GPS for all that I do. When you think about it, a threat is used to make you accept a “potential” problem. But in reality, the problem isn't here yet, it's still an idea. Joe Joe and Melemel wanted to wish the Troops a Happy Veterans Day. I thought about how their personalities would be if they were real children posing for a picture. How Joe Joe is trying to run things and Melemel is like "Whateva!" (LOL). But as I drew this, I thought, if the men and women in the armed forces use their gifts, talents, and skills to make sure our freedoms are available. How could we show appreciation? My conclusion: use our gifts, talents, and skills to inspire others. That is one way to WEAR WHAT YOU BELIEVE!

Have you ever been in a situation, where things seemed worse than they really were? At first glance the situation, the damage, and the loss seemed horrific. About a year ago, I had to make a decision centered around closing my first and only "store"and it felt like I was being "locked up" and about to lose... BIG. So out of my passion for art and design, coupled with COMPETITION, I began to take small (not always easy) steps to move the business with what I had. And with each step the relationships, the experiences, the knowledge, and the drive that I gained was bigger, better, and stronger. And I realized... it really wasn't as bad as it seemed. So I told myself, Always make the decision to bring life to your dreams by never stop moving. WEAR WHAT YOU BELIEVE!

I was thinking of a comic for this week and the story on the child and the hot air ballon kept popping up. So I had to take advantage of this opportunity to not pick on them as a family or as individual people but to really evaluate why I do things. I think this comic is funny, simply because children get honest at the right times. LOL. But the life lesson learned is: "If you want an honest answer ask most children, if you want a bunch of mess ask childish adults but if you want the truth... ask BELOW THE BRIM (a real friend).

Have you ever seen a child knock on a door or reach to ring a doorbell while standing on their tip toes? LOL. It made me think... How many doors have we been afraid to knock on because the door seemed "to big" or "the bell to far to reach"? Usually, the more you have to stretch the better the success when achieved. So this weekend was my birthday and we decide to go to Cedar Point, where I transition from almost having a heat stroke to getting whoozy and passing out to crazy fun. And as I was enjoying the coasters, I picked up a life lesson. Certainly, situations forces one to strap in and ride. Many times, you laugh, cry, get sick, whoozy, light headed, and maybe even faint. With that being said RIDE HARD, LAUGH LONG, but always STAND IN DIGNITY (in between each coaster ... LOL)! WEAR WHAT YOU BELIEVE!

BASED ON A TRUE STORY. Growing up we were broke! Really, we only had enough money to get necessities. Well, like every other kid we always wanted the finer things in life and one of those things happened to be bubble bath. Since we were, unable to get the liquid bubbles, my little bro, my cousins, and myself would put Tide Washing Powders in the tube and mix the water real fast to generate as much bubbles as possible. Everyone loves the idea of being BIG, BAD, and STRONG. In fact, we all are (in our own right). Some of us are talented in communication, others in music, vision, and more. But the issue often time strengthens our belief that we can fix everything and we know that this is not true. Because of our inability to fix what we simply can't, it causes stress. I realized STRESS = Humans trying to be God. Know our place and learn how to relax. Find hope in the fact that someone loves you even more than you love you. WEAR WHAT YOU BELIEVE!
